Refund Policy for WPPoet

At WPPoet, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase of our digital WordPress plugins and themes. We stand behind our products and offer a straightforward refund policy.

1. Refund Eligibility Window

We offer refunds within 14 days of the original purchase date.

If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Refunds apply only to initial purchases; license renewals are generally non-refundable.

2. Conditions for a Full Refund

We will grant a full refund within the 14-day window if you meet one of the following conditions:

  • Product Not Working: The product is fundamentally broken, non-functional, or fails to perform its core advertised functions after you have allowed our support team a reasonable opportunity to assist.
  • Unresolvable Technical Issue: You encountered a significant technical issue directly caused by our product that our support team was unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Misrepresentation (Accidental): If the product was accidentally misrepresented in its description (e.g., a key feature mentioned does not exist).

Important: We require that you first contact our support team at webtoptemplates@wppoet.com to attempt to resolve any issues before a refund request will be considered. We need the opportunity to understand the problem and try to fix it.

3. When Refunds Will Not Be Granted

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following situations:

  • After the Refund Window: Requests made after the 14-day eligibility period has expired.
  • License Renewals: Payments made for renewing a product license to continue receiving updates and support.
  • Change of Mind: You decided you no longer want the product after purchasing and downloading/using it.
  • Compatibility Issues: Issues caused by conflicts with third-party plugins, themes, or specific server/hosting environments, unless WPPoet explicitly advertised compatibility with that specific item/environment on the product page at the time of purchase. (We recommend testing on a staging site if you have concerns).
  • Lack of Features: The product works as advertised, but you wish it had features that were not listed or promoted at the time of purchase.
  • Customer Modifications: Issues caused by modifications you made to the product’s code.
  • Refusal of Support Assistance: You are unwilling or unable to provide the necessary information or access for our support team to diagnose the problem effectively.
  • Mistaken Purchase: Accidentally purchasing the wrong product. (However, please contact us at webtoptemplates@wppoet.com immediately – we may offer an exchange or store credit at our discretion if the product hasn’t been extensively used).
  • Promotional / Sale Items: Items purchased at a discount during specific sale periods may have different refund conditions, which will be clearly stated during the promotion. If not stated otherwise, this standard policy applies.
  • Services: Any fees paid for customization services or other work already performed.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Ensure you have first contacted our support team at webtoptemplates@wppoet.com to try and resolve the issue.
  2. If the issue persists and you meet the eligibility criteria within the 14-day window, please send your refund request to webtoptemplates@wppoet.com .
  3. In your email, please include:
    • Your Order Number (or proof of purchase, like the email address used for purchase).
    • The specific product you want refunded.
    • A clear explanation of the reason for the refund request.
    • Reference to any support ticket numbers, if applicable.

5. Refund Processing

  • We will review your refund request based on this policy, typically within 3-5 business days.
  • We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
  • If your refund is approved, it will be processed by our payment partner (Paddle.com, who acts as our Merchant of Record). Paddle will issue the credit back to your original method of payment (e.g., credit card, PayPal).
  • Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, as processing times can vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

6. Effect of Refund

Upon receiving a refund:

  • Your license key(s) for the refunded product will be deactivated.
  • You will no longer receive automatic updates or be eligible for technical support for the refunded product.
  • You agree to cease all use of the refunded product and delete all copies from your website(s) and local storage.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received an approved refund after the expected processing time:

  1. First, double-check your bank account or credit card statement.
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank, as there may be internal processing time before the refund is officially posted.
  3. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at webtoptemplates@wppoet.com with your original order details.
